Woodmaster drum sander manual11/26/2022 I loaded a picture from the company website, because the 2 I took of mine were too big to be accepted by this website. You get incredibly well built, industrial quality tools, made in the US. As I said about my planer, if you compare their prices, which always seem to be having a promotion, and usually free shipping, the Woodmaster tools compete very well against Jet, Powermatic, Laguna, and all of the others, and they are built like tanks, in the US. The variable speed feed rate on the Woodmaster tools is excellent. This is due to the fact that the dust exhaust is "after the drum" in the forward direction, which puts it "before" the sanding when reversed, but I just run it back through for the third pass, back in the forward direction, and things come out dust free. The power is great, with the 5HP Leeson motor, and the dust pickup is excellent, when the sander is in the "forward" direction, but not too well when "reversed". Much better than trying to use belt and pad sanders. I run pieces through, back and forth, for 3 passes, and then crank it up a little more continue sanding, and produce extremely smooth pieces with little effort. With the ability to sand panels 37- 1/2" wide, it makes wide panel and glue ups come out looking like they have always been together. All SuperMax Tools drum sanders feature patented self-cooling drums and spring-tension abrasive take-up fasteners, as well as sealed and permanently lubricated. I have been using it extensively for over a year, and it has become one of my favorite tools. Mine has the optional reversing switch, and I added the infeed and outfeed extension rollers that I bought from Woodmaster.
